2022 Events – Food Vendors

Richmond Parks and Recreation wanted make sure food vendors were aware of our events for 2022 and could put those dates on their calendars.

If you wish to participate in our 2022 events, please click HERE to apply. The purpose of this document is to (1) update all information for the new year, (2) inform you of the documents that we need turned in prior to setting up at any events, (3) the food vendors who fill out this form with all requested information by January 21st, 2022 will be given first priority.
A final determination will be made by Feb 4th, 2022. Regardless if your insurance or licenses are about to expire, please submit them and then send an updated copy. Event specific applications will be mailed out prior to the events.
NOTE: Vendors setting up with a tent are not required to have a fire inspection, but everything else is required.

2022 Events – Music RFP

The City of Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals for a performer for the City of Richmond’s Fourth of July Celebration at the Ann L. Durham Lake Reba Recreational Complex and the Millstone Festival in Downtown Richmond.  If you’re interested in submitting an application, please CLICK HERE.

Please submit the proposal by no later than Jan 28, 2022 @ 4:00pm. The committee will review the proposals and respond no later than Feb 26, 2022.

Christmas Parade

The Christmas Parade will be on Friday, December 3rd, 2021. This year’s theme is Christmas Around the World.

REGISTRATION: Free registration deadline closed on November 17th, 2021. Entries received after the deadline will now require a $20.00 non-refundable application fee dependent upon space. Space is not guaranteed. Checks made payable to Richmond Parks and Recreation. Holiday Happening Craft Show

The Holiday Happening Craft Show will be on Saturday, December 4th from 9am-2pm at the Richmond Mall (830 Eastern Bypass). For more information  CLICK HERE. Applications are closed.

Santa Letters

Radiant Richmond

Do you or a neighbor have a Radiant Richmond Home? Do you live in a neighborhood that has multiple decorated houses? Do you think one business goes above and beyond with the Christmas Spirit? The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department wants to know who has “Richmond’s Most Radiant Home”, “Richmond’s Most Radiant Neighborhood” and “Richmond’s Most Radiant Business.” Nomination deadline is December 7th. The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is an efficient operation of the Richmond City Government that constantly seeks to provide a high level and wide variety of recreational opportunities to all people of all ages and stages of life.
