Pickleball
Below are locations to play pickleball in Richmond & Berea:
The Greg Adams Indoor Tennis Facility
They are now offering court times for pickleball play on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am-12:00pm. Therefore, only two indoor tennis courts will be available at that time. Both members and non-members will have access to these courts on a walk-in basis. No reservations will be taken for pickleball courts. For members, the court fee is $6+tax per person. Non-members are required to use one season pass visit per pickleball session. There will be a limited number of pickleballs available for use at the facility, but players must bring their own paddles.
Telford YMCA
Pickleball is a combination of ping pong, tennis & badminton. The game is played by 2 or 4 people on a badminton-sized court using paddles and a wiffleball.
This is an open event for all members looking for some friendly competition. Played on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 11:30AM-1:30PM in the downstairs gym.

Red House Baptist Church
Pickleball Pick-up Games (August 8th-September 30th) Mondays 6pm-8pm in the Red House Baptist Church Gym (2301 Red House Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). No experience necessary, players must be ages 18 & up. Rackets and all equipment will be provided. For More information call (859) 623-8471.
Boxing
Richmond Golden Gloves Boxing is located at 123 Short Street. Call Emmitt Igo at 859-200-1568 for more information on dates and prices.
Clogging
The Richard McHargue Cloggers - This is a dance program that teaches youth and adults how to clog. Sessions and classes vary. Clogging is held in the Parks and Recreation basement located off 1st Street.
A new session of beginning clogging will begin on Tuesday, January 7th at 6:15 pm.

Horseshoes
The Lake Reba Recreational Complex has a state-of-the-art Horseshoe Complex with 12 Horseshoe Pits. The public can bring their own equipment and utilize the facility at any time. A shelter is also available to sit under so people can relax between games.
Madison County Horseshoe Association- Several tournaments are planned throughout the year for horseshoes. For more information on joining this league, please contact:

Soccer
The Madison United Soccer is open to Boys and Girls ages 4-13. Children who are 4 years old on or before July 31st of the previous year are eligible for Spring Soccer. Children who are 4 years old on or before July 31st of the current year are eligible for Fall Soccer. Visit the MUSA website for more information.
The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is not in charge of the youth sports programs. Each youth program has its own governing body and makes the rules for its leagues.
Bowling Leagues
Richmond offers several youth and adult Bowling Leagues in addition to Cosmic Bowling on select nights at the Galaxy Bowling Center. Visit their website or give them a call for more information.
