The Board of Commissioners meets every (2nd) Second and (4th) Fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm (ET) in the Commission Chambers. These meetings will be aired live on Channel 378 (Spectrum Cable TV) when possible and on City of Richmond, KY Community Information Facebook page.

The Board of Commissioners also meets every (3rd) third Tuesday of the month at 9:30am (ET) in the Conference Room. This meeting is not televised.

  • Meeting Agendas will be posted here prior to the meeting.  If you would like to make a presentation of 15 minutes and less, please contact the City Clerk for placement on the agenda.  If you would like to address the commission please speak during the Public Comments portion at the end of the meetings.
  • PUBLIC COMMENTS PROCEDURE: The public is given an opportunity to speak to the City Commission during public comment portion of the meeting.  Any public comments exceeding 5 minutes should be scheduled as a presentation through the Mayor’s office.  The Mayor will recognize those persons wishing to address the Board of Commissioners.  After being recognized, please go to the podium and for the records state your name before asking any questions or making any comments.  Comments should be business oriented and please refrain from any inappropriate language or naming any person individually during your comments.  Speak clearly into the microphone and adjust if needed. Currently during the COVID19 pandemic all Commission Meetings will be via Zoom and streamed live on Facebook City of Richmond, KY Community Information page.  Public can submit public comments to the City Clerk office by lcassity@richmond.ky.us or 859-623-1000 ext 1103.
