The Halloween Hoe-Down is back again for another year! The event will be held in Downtown Richmond at the Courthouse Square on Thursday, October 28th, 2021. Festivities will kick of at 6pm and continue through 8pm. This is a FREE family friendly event designed for children 12 and under!
Vendors will be set up along Main Street. The games, activities, and petting zoo will be located on 2nd Street. The inflatables and snack food vendors will be located in the parking lot to the right of the courthouse on N. 1st Street.
Main stage entertainment for the event includes:
A Special “Thank You” goes out to the Eastern Kentucky University Recreation & Parks Administration REC 460 Class for helping to organize the games, decorations, and contests this year. They will be using this as a service learning project.

Is there going to be food available for sell?
There are limited food vendors selling snack style treats and goodies. Since this event is downtown there will be options from local business on Main Street.
Where can I park?
Since this event is located in Downtown parking options are limited. There will be street parking available outside of the event that will be first come first serve. The best suggestion is to carpool or walk the best you can to the event.
