CLASS TITLE: Summer Camp Counselors
DEPARTMENT: Parks and Recreation
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A Summer Camp Counselor will be responsible for children ages K-5th grade; keeping them safe, having fun, and giving them a positive experience of summer camp. A counselor must be able to supervise children, communicate with other staff and parents, and provide structure to campers. Program planning and keeping on task are essential. The ability to drive a 15-passenger van, swimming experience, and CPR/1st Aid Certification are preferred. Applicants will be subject to a background check. Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
