Richmond Parks and Recreation are excited to be able to bring to Richmond a new, community focused event that will be hosted on a recurring weekly basis through October 2021. Tasty Tuesdays brings together local food trucks from around the Madison County area to gather at Irvine-McDowell Park, creating a lively atmosphere for people to gather and hang out. The first Tasty Tuesday will be on Tuesday, March 2nd and continue so forth every Tuesday afterwards. We will announce lineups for the first Tasty Tuesday closer to the day of the event, and we will be shortly adding the registration form for interested vendors to signup, which will be found below when it is open. If you want to stay up to date on everything happening with Tasty Tuesdays follow our Facebook Event Page HERE. The information for vendors and the requirements will be found below. If you have any questions regarding Tasty Tuesday you may contact the Parks Department at 859-623-8753 or email@example.com.
Food Truck Registration Information:
We are thrilled that you are interested in participating in our Tasty Tuesday. Below you can find the link to sign up, or simply click HERE. To register for this event your food truck must be fully compliant with Ordinance 19-24 (click HERE for document). This will require, but no limited too, a current City of Richmond business license, an inspection performed by the Richmond Fire Department, and an inspection by the Madison County Health Department. All food trucks must be fully compliant with all requirements listed in Ordinance 19-24 before they can complete the form and be accepted to participate in Tasty Tuesdays. There will be no separate fee for a vendor to setup at the event, other than the costs associated with meeting the regulations in Ordinance 19-24. All mobile vendors, regardless of their food preperation method, or even if they prepare food, will require a fire department inspection. Mobile Vendors can and do use electric power for their mobile trucks or trailers and as such need a fire inspection as the electricity can cause a spark, whether it be a home or a mobile unit.
