The Madison County Youth Football League serves Richmond, Berea, and all of its communities of Madison County. We are here to promote the development of the youth in our community in the sport of football by teaching fundamentals, and influencing good sportsmanship, teamwork and high morals. We are an affiliate of American Youth Football which is the largest youth football organization int he world. MCYFL is open to youth ages 5-11. We play our games at Kiwanis Football Field at Lake Reba. The Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is not in charge of the youth sports programs. Each youth program has their own governing body and makes the rules for their leagues.

REGISTRATION December 10 – January 26
Wee and Tee $90 (without fundraising); $50 (with fundraising) sell 6 spirit cards for $10 each.
Rookie Coach, Coach, Minor, Major, Senior League: $115 (without fundraising); $75 (with fundraising) sell 6 spirit cards for $10 each. If there are 3 children in the same household playing, the fee for the 3rd child is $50 or $75 and no fundraising.
LATE REGISTRATION January 27 – February 1
Wee and Tee $100 (without fundraising) $60 (with fundraising) sell 6 spirit cards for $10 each
Rookie Coach, Coach, Minor, Major, Senior League: $125 (without fundraising)

Players will be taken upon availability but not guaranteed.

SENIOR LEAGUE REGISTRATION ON LINE February 2 until March 1 $125
SPIRIT CARD FUNDRAISER Turn in money and get spirit cards on February 28, 1:30 – 2:30.
Spirit card forms that include business sponsors are available at richmondlittleleague.info and will also be attached to the online registration confirmation. Complete the form when you sell each card and collect $10 for each card sold. Then bring the $60 and get the cards on February 28 at the Richmond Mall (Enter the mall doors next to Gillum’s). Come between 1:30 and 2:30 on Sunday, February 28, and get a coupon for a free soft drink with a purchase at Gillum’s. (More than 6 cards can be sold.)
SEASON OPENING WEEK All teams will have their first game during the week of April 12 to April 16.
SEASON OPENING DAY FOR SENIOR LEAGUE – tentative date May 15
ALL ADULTS WHO WILL BE COACHING OR HELPING WITH THE PLAYERS AT PRACTICES OR GAMES MUST COMPLETE A MANDATORY BACKGROUND CHECK AND THIS CAN BE COMPLETED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE ONLINE REGISTRATION IS COMPLETED.
UMPIRE/SCOREKEEPER- Anyone interested in umpiring or scorekeeping, contact Derek Daniel @ 582-9112.
Richmond Little League is a separate organization from the Richmond Parks and Recreation Dept. RLL is responsible for making decisions for their league which includes sign ups, league rules, hiring umpires and scorekeepers, vetting coaches, and scheduling fields for practices and games.
